First things first, let’s define what we mean by “true calling”. It’s not just a job that pays the bills and allows you to afford avocado toast on the weekends. It’s a career that aligns with your passions, talents, and values. It’s something that makes you excited to wake up in the morning (okay, maybe not at 6 am on a Monday, but you get the idea).

So, how do you find this elusive true calling? Well, it’s not as complicated as you might think. In fact, it’s a lot like a treasure hunt. And who doesn’t love a good treasure hunt?

Step 1: Understand your “treasure map”

Take some time to reflect on your interests and passions. What are the things that make your heart sing? What do you enjoy doing so much that you lose track of time? These are the clues that will lead you to your treasure.

Step 2: Dig for “gold”

Assess your strengths and talents. We all have unique abilities and talents, and it’s important to identify these and understand how they can be used in a career or pursuit. Look for patterns in your skills and experiences that suggest areas of expertise and potential career paths.

Step 3: Explore different “territories”

Try different things and keep an open mind. The best way to discover your true calling is to expose yourself to a variety of experiences and see what resonates with you. Don’t be afraid to take risks and try something new.

Step 4: Seek “help from the locals”

Seek guidance from others. Talk to people you admire and respect, and ask for their advice and guidance. You can also seek out a career coach or counselor who can help you identify your strengths and guide you in finding your true calling.

Step 5: Trust your “compass”

Trust your intuition. At the end of the day, you are the only one who knows what truly makes you happy and fulfilled. Trust your instincts and listen to your inner voice, even if it means taking a path that is different from what others expect of you.

So, grab your compass and your treasure map, and set out on your journey to find your true calling. Who knows, you might just uncover a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

P.S. Let me know in the comments if you’ve transitioned from the “false” to “true” in yours. : P
